A staircase post is a post when someone’s conversation goes on without cutting it. Without cutting the post, it ends up clogging the dash and then the post ends up being a link post. This is something we want to avoid. 

We usually want the conversation post to have at least two replies. Which look like this:

In this conversation  it is mine turn to reply. So, what I would do is delete my previous reply on top and keep Tablo’s response ,which is at the bottom. And I’ll respond to his reply. Once it is Tablo’s turn, he would do the same. Delete his previous reply and respond to my last response.  By doing this, it makes the dash much more cleaner and it wouldn’t be so hard to scroll down the dash.

[ now if you’re on mobile, I don’t think it’s any excuse not to cut posts because you could go on web browser, edit the html in your post and shorten it. just pointing it out. ]
